so this week/end has been a blur of homework. i think total, i’ve spent about 14 hours in the lab at school just between yesterday and today. lame-o. at least my homework is done. (although, i’m not sure how well…)
anyway, one of the projects i’ve been working on is for my video editing class. i’ve never taken a video class. actually i hardly even knew how to run a video camera, let alone run video editing software or make a short video. but alas, i finished one today. i’ll share it, but keep in mind i’m a rookie. oh, and it was supposed to be a self portrait. so don’t judge too harshly.

i’ve decided to do this book challenge thing to kind of feed my need for literature (and maybe a short escape from reality, no matter the circumstances?). i’ve agreed to read three books between may and august. i found about about it through a BLOG. i think it might be fun. here are the three books i’ll be attempting:
Living to Tell the Tale by Gabriel García Márquez
Tu by Patricia Grace
An imaginary life by David Malouf
i think for now, however, i’m going to go make a nice hot cup of tea, and see if i can finish reading the book i’m already working on… (Paris to the Moon by Adam Gopnik).
