New Work

I’ve been doing quite a few shoots lately, partly to keep on top of my portfolio. But I have so much fun when I’m in the studio! Take a look at a few recent shoots:

absence or ignorance?

Oh, how the months have gone, actually flown, by. There are various reasons for my extended absence, and although I won’t go into detail about some of them, I will say that it’s been a long hard couple of months.

An entire quarter has gone by in school. Almost. I have two weeks left before I am officially in my last quarter of college. Cross your fingers that I’ll actually graduate this time! I’ve pretty much been non-stop 7 days a week between school and work. Fortunately, next quarter, I’ll be cutting back on work hours to focus on school a bit more.

I’ve been reading a lot lately. Some good, some bad. But it’s nice to have a few minutes to escape reality each day. I was in the middle of reading Julie & Julia when my friend, Carrie, decided she wanted to see it for her birthday. Cute movie, but I’m not sure I’m going to finish the book. Well, knowing me, I won’t be able to not finish it. I hate starting books and not finishing them. It drives me nuts!

I’ve been shooting a lot. I’ve done a couple of weddings, and tons for my portfolio. I will have some to post here in the next day or two.

I haven’t really been in the writing mood lately, so I know things seem a little on the outside, but fear not. I’ll get back there. Anyway, I’m about to head to bed for tonight, but perhaps tomorrow will be the day that something extraordinary happens to get me out of this funk!
